Annual 5K Run/Walk

Our 10th Annual 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA. Join us as we celebrate a decade of impact.

The 5K is the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year, raising funds for safety awareness and violence-prevention initiatives. It attracts both serious and recreational runners and walkers from across the state (and beyond). The 5K has had over 9,000 participants since its first year.

It’s a fun event! In addition to the 5K race, there is a Kids’ Fun Run and a post-race party including a DJ, food and beverages, raffles, and silent auction. The Foundation is so grateful for the support of its community – participants and sponsors.

Medals are awarded to top finishers. 
The paved road course is mostly flat with two short hills.
